Morag McLean
Morag graduated from Dundee Art College in 1976 after
a classical art training specialising in sculpture.
She first worked as a portrait sculptor in Madame Tussaud's, then was employed
by BBC Television's Visual Effects studio in London where she worked for 18 years.
Morag then moved to Vancouver in Canada and carried on in the film industry for
the next 5 years. During all this time she worked across the full range of Effects

the most delicate filigree. All moulding and casting techniques are within her

that health and safety are always a consideration in everything she makes.
Morag also regularly taught life casting at Shepperton
Film Studios while in Britain, and at Capilano College
in Vancouver, Canada. She also taught portrait sculpture
at Vancouver Academy of Art. She is experienced in
running a crew, and servicing and supporting whatever she

Morag now lives in Scotland but still works on both continents. She has
dual nationality and is a full member in several branches of I.A.T.S.E.
891 in Canada and BECTU in
UK. Only some of the productions she has worked on are listed here. |
