During her years
in Art College Morag tended towards specializing in portraiture
and still includes it in her repertoire when not working
in the film industry.
From 1997 -2000 Morag taught portrait sculpture at
the Vancouver Academy of Art in Canada. |

She embarked
on sculpting a series of portraits of well respected
European chefs after BBC TV asked her to sculpt a number
of portraits of food scientists from history, (Savarin & Bacon
shown below) and also a portrait of the presenter of
their programme, Chef Raymond Blanc. M. Blanc’s
BBC portrait is not shown here, only the one made of
him at a later date. |
