Teaching

In the last dozen years Morag has taught regularly. This has been in the sculpture workshops ‘on the shop floor’ when in a lead or key position.

In England Morag taught life casting at Shepperton Film Studios for a make-up school where her course lasted a week and included health and safety issues involved . She taught he same kind of course at Capilano College in Vancouver.

Morag was also a regular tutor at the Vancouver Academy of Art in Canada where she taught portrait sculpture to mostly graduate students who wanted to further their skills.

Public seminars in sculpting the portrait were also a feature where she would demonstrate in 1-2 hours the basics of portrait sculpting techniques and how to ‘grab’ the character of the subject.
